Euro 2016: Watch Stuart Broad, Harry Kane vs Moeen Ali, Tom Carroll in crossbar challenge

Euro 2016 is on and its fever has gripped the football fans across the globe. On the eve of one of its blockbuster clashes, which is England taking on Wales; two of England s cricketers were joined by their soccer counterparts in a crossbar challenge. While pace sensation Stuart Broad paired with England and Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane, Moeen Ali paired with Kane s team-mate Tom Carroll. In the short video shared by ECB s official Twitter handle, all four of them take turns to kick the ball from the half-way line and try to hit the crossbar. While Broad performs decently in the challenge, Moeen does not do get it bad either. However, it is difficult to find the winning pair in the end as both the teams do well.

What is a crossbar challenge?

It is usually a way of practicing which footballers use during their training sessions. In a crossbar challenge, hitting a goal or the back of the net is not a priority. The players target the crossbar and are supposed to hit it with a perfectly timed shot rather than score a goal. Watch the video here:
