Watch Faf du Plessis talk about taking charge of South African Test team

Since South Africa’s regular captain AB de Villiers pulled out from the ongoing Test series between South Africa and New Zealand due to fitness issues, Faf du Plessis was appointed to lead the side. Surely, it was like a dream come true for du Plessis to lead the national side.

The middle-order batsman, who is one of the key members in the current South African side across formats, is also among the most experienced players in the team. Ahead of the first Test, which has already begun with currently play on day two being underway, ProteasCricket, which is the official YouTube channel of South African cricket team, posted a video where du Plessis talks about taking charge of the side in Tests.
