Highlights: Australia vs Sri Lanka, First Test – Day One

Australia managed to reach 299 for four against Sri Lanka at the end of Day One of the first Test at Hobart on Friday.

Opener David Warner, Phil Hughes and skipper Michael Clarke struck half-centuries to guide Australia to a respectable score on day one.

Chanaka Welegedara starred with the ball picking up three crucial wickets. Sri Lanka also effected a run-out of David Warner.
