International Cricket Council CEO Dave Richardson announced the nominees for the 2013 ICC awards. The five-member panel in charge of choosing were Anil Kumble, Graeme Pollock, Alec Stewart, Waqar Younis and Catherine Cambell.

 

The performances from 31st August 2012 to 31st August 2013 were evaluated. Following are the nominations.

 

Test cricketer of the year: Hashim Amla, Ravichandran Ashwin, James Anderson, Cheteshwar Pujara, Dale Steyn, Michael Clarke.

 

ODI Cricketer of the Year: Saeed Ajmal, Shikhar DHawan, MS Dhoni, Misbah-ul-Haq, Ravindra Jadeja, Kumar Sangakkara.

 

Womens’ Player of the year: Suzie Bates, Charlotte Edwards, Stefanie Taylor, Medg Lanning, Anya Shrubsole,

 

ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year: Trent Boult, Cheteshwar Pujara, Joe Root, Mitchell Starc.

 

ICC Associate and Affiliate Cricketer of the Year: Kyle Coetzer, Kevin O Brien, Ed Joyce, Navroz Mangal.

 

T20 International Performance of the Year: Umar Gul, Martin Guptill, Brendon McCullum, Ajantha Mendis.

 

ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year: Suzie Bates, Sarah Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Deandra Dottin, Meg Lanning, Shanel Daley.

 

Umpire of the Year: The whole elite panel has been nominated.
