ICC says Test matches need to be given importance

International Cricket Council (ICC) has said that Test matches need to be given importance. With increasing number of One-Day internationals and Twenty20 games the number of Tests are decreasing.

In the latest development ICC has hinted that unless teams play minimum number of five-day games over a four year period shall lead to withdrawal of team's Test status.

Chaired for the first time by Anil Kumble the committee took the decision on May 30, 2013.
