India are stepping up their preparations ahead of the second Test match against New Zealand which will take place from February 14 at Wellington, by practicing hard in the pre-match net sessions.

India who had lost the first Test at Auckland despite a fighting 115 by Shikhar Dhawan are expected to be welcomed by a green-top at Wellington and may find the going tough against the home side’s pace bowling attack.

But the Indians believe that they have prepared well enough for the Test and are ready to face the prospect of a green-top dished out by the home side.

New Zealand are leading the two-Test match series 1-0 and have an opportunity to do a whitewash on India provided they win at Wellington.
