India to resume cricket ties with Pakistan

The Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed that the cricketing ties between India and Pakistan will resume and Pakistan will tour India for a three match one day series in December. Mohali and Chennai are the likely venues for the promising series.

The cricketing ties between the two countries had snapped in the wake of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, with bilateral series being suspended for almost five years, the last being in India in 2007.
