Dale Steyn reflected on getting six wickets against India in the second Test in Durban. Steyn said the pitch was better as the match progressed and stated that it was was one his better five-fors in his career.

The South African pacer said he didn’t expect to restrict India for 334 and and was confident that the batters would get Proteas in the drivers seat.

Steyn also removed the lid on veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis retirement. He said the announcement of Kallis hanging up his boots ” moved him to tears”.

South Africa pacer Dale Steyn on Friday registered his 22nd five-wicket haul, during the second day’s play of the second and final Test match against India at Kingsmead, Durban.

Steyn achieved the feat when he had Indian batsman Zaheer Khan caught by wicketkeeper AB de Villiers in the 109th over of the Indian innings.

The right-arm pacer finished with the figures of 30-9-100-6.

Steyn, who had a poor run in the first Test at Johannesburg and was belted for runs on the first day of the second Test by the Indian batsmen, bounced back in a remarkable manner to pull back things for his side.
