India need 290 runs to win the 8th ODI of the tri-series against Sri Lanka in Brisbane.

Electing to bat, Sri Lanka made 289 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs.

Angelo Mathews remained unbeaten on 49  whereas Mahela Jayawardena made 45 from 55 balls.
