India and the West Indies are going to play a three match One-Day International (ODI) series, the first game is at the Nehru Stadium, Kochi.

West Indies may have lost the Test series comprehensively, but are a different unit in ODIs. Dwayne Bravo leads a side that has some power-hitters and game-changers in their ranks. Chris Gayle is certainly one man the Indians would fear and there is always a danger lurking if he hasn’t performed for a few games. He would open the batting with Johnson Charles, who has given a good account of himself.

The Nehru Stadium can be a high-scoring ground, but there have been games where run-making has been difficult. The short boundaries would be a temptation for the batsmen and with big hitters on both sides, the fans may be in for a few maximums.
