IPL 2013: Shikhar Dhawan will not play Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening tie

Sunrisers Hyderabad, the new Indian Premier League (IPL) team, have suffered blow ahead of the tournament with star player Shikhar Dhawan being ruled out due to injury for at least their opening tie against Pune Warriors, to be held on April 5.

It could be the big blow for the new IPL outfit as the star Indian batsman has been ruled out from the 1st match due to injury but team management is hoping for speedy recovery.

Dhawan, who scored fastest ever century on debut in the recently-concluded Test series against Australia, had sustained an injury during the series.
