With the Indian Premier League (IPL) around the corner, out of favour Indian batsmen Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh‘s bidding will start at a base price of 2 crores.


Yuvraj was a default player in the auction as his team Pune Warriors were terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Sehwag was released by the Delhi Daredevils during the retentions.


There will be a total of 46 Indian players in the IPL auctions. The overall total of players will be 233 hoping to compete in the mega-event, a report in the International Business Times said.


The other big Indians with the top base price are Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay, Pragyan Ojha, Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan, Ashish Nehra, Saurabh Tiwary and Praveen Kumar.
