Jackson Bird confident of stepping up to challenge in England

Jackson Bird said the wicket was tough for the bowlers on Day Two of the second warm-up match ahead of the upcoming ashes series against Worcestshire.

He admitted that the bowlers were a bit predictable on a one-paced pitch.

He also said that the Australia bowlers were lucky to get a few wickets. He hopes that they bowl better and pick more wickets on the third day.

He said that he is not sure of the final playing XI. However, Bird is confident of stepping up to the challenge of playing the Ashes in England.
