Jodie Fields led Australia to the ICC Women's World Cup 2013 title after a 114-run victory over West Indies in the final of the tournament.

Australia batted first and posted 259 for seven in 50 overs, and then bowled West Indies out for 145 in the 44th over to capture the country's sixth women's World Cup crown.

The delighted skipper said it feels great to have more World Cup trophies than men's team.

Fields said last year's tour of India, during which the Aussies emerged triumphant 8-1, gave her team good experience of the sub-continental conditions which came in handy during the World Cup campaign.
