South Africa‘s JP Duminy has hailed the longer format of the game after his side’s crushing 231-run defeat of Australia in the second Test match at Port Elizabeth. Duminy also admitted that there was pressure on him to perform with the bat and maintained that it was not affecting him in any way since he was constantly looking to improve his performances.


Duminy also praised his side after they recovered from a humiliating 281-run loss in the first Test at Centurion and levelled the three-match series 1-1.


Duminy said that he was looking to put in good performances for South Africa in the near future and said that he will try to handle the pressure in a positive manner.
