After notching up contrasting wins in their opening Super Eight fixtures, a stern test awaits both the West Indies and Sri Lanka as both eye a semifinal berth when they square off against each other in the Group 1 match of the ICC World Twenty20 on Friday.

West Indies edged out defending champions England by 15 runs in an exciting finish, while Sri Lanka won in dramatic fashion after a 'Super Over' was required to settle the clash with New Zealand last night, reported PTI.

Both Sri Lanka and West Indies are known to raise the bar when it comes to performing at big-ticket ICC events and it would be interesting to see which of the two teams manages to go a notch higher in the battle on Saturday.
