Morne Morkel ripped apart Australia‘s batting line-up in the 2nd ODI at Perth to earn South Africa a much needed win and level the series 1-1 in the five-match ODI series. He claimed five wickets for just 21 runs and was also adjudged the man of the match to help the visitors stay alive in the series. Australia had already won the opening game at the same venue to draw first blood. Morkel’s five wicket haul and skipper, AB de Villiers brilliant 48 helped Proteas earn the victory.
