Michael Clarke’s availability in doubt for 1st ODI against Zimbabwe
Clarke may miss 1st ODI against Zimbabwe
Michael Clarke suffered a hamstring injury while training ahead of the triangular series in Zimbabwe. The Australian captain might miss the first One-Day International (ODI) to be played at Harare on Monday (August 25).
Zimbabwe will be eager to perform well in the triangular series, as they lost the recently concluded three-match ODI series against South Africa 3-0.
As many as ten years have passed since Australia last visited Zimbabwe. Darren Lehmann who went to Zimbabwe as a player in 2004, will go as a coach in 2011.
The triangular series will give all participating teams an opportunity to strike the right team balance ahead of the ICC World Cup 2015.
