Australian middle-order batsman Michael Hussey announced his retirement from international cricket after the Sydney Test against Sri Lanka, starting on Thursday.

 
Hussey also declared his retirement from One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 format of the game.

 
Hussey bids adieu to an wonderful career on a high note, scoring four Test centuries this year. His highest score this year has been an unbeaten 150 against India in Sydney.
