Mitchell Johnson: Darren Lehmann brought the fun in to the game for Australia

Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson heaped praise on coach Darren Lehmann and spoke about his comeback journey before winning the Ashes 5-0. Johnson said that Lehmann brought back the fun in to the game in the Australian dressing room.

“It’s about having a belief in my own ability. It was all about getting mentally stronger. Tough experiences do impact you. But I had done all training not knowing what to expect. I had bit of fun with it [Barmy Army] and at time I just ignore,” Johnson said.

“I loved bowling with Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle and even Nathan Lyon. Harris had wished me after I was selected and we all do complement each other,” Johnson said after the good show by the bowlers.
