In spite of Australia ending up on 273 for 8, Australia’s former Test great Michael Hussey believes that the first Ashes Test of 2013 against England is still up for grabs. However, he admitted that Australian bowlers have to work hard to help them to make a comeback in the first Test match. On the other end of the spectrum, England would look to bat long.

In their respective press conferences, both Stuart Broad and Mitchell Johnson said that they were happy with the day’s play. Broad also added that it was tough work for bowlers, especially between over number 40 to the time they got the red cherry in their hands.
