Australia came back with a vengeance on the second day of their first Ashes Test against England at The Gabba by cleaning up the opposition for a score of mere 136. After being bowled out for 295, they gave a dose of chin music to England’s batsmen to keep them on tenterhooks.

In particular, Mitchell Johnson by bowling with fiery pace made the English batsmen hop around. The way he went around the wicket to angle it into the left-handed batsman Michael Carberry with a rising delivery to dismiss him was the highlight of the day. Nathan Lyon the off-spinenr supported him well.
