England batsman Jonny Bairstow said after the third day's play that the ongoing Ashes series is a great learning curve for him.

He and Ian Bell added 67 runs towards the end of the third day's play to keep Australia at bay and take England's lead past 200 runs. Bairstow said he was unhappy to get out but was pleased with his contribution to help England take advantage at the end of day's play.

He spoke about learning a lot from the ongoing series and also said his side were confident to win the Test and claim the series.
