Alastair Cook and Joe Root address the press conference after England beat Australia by 347 runs in the second Test match at Lord's on Sunday July 21, 2013.

On Day four, Root missed his double hundred by 20 runs which led to England's declaration at 349 for seven. Australia needed 583 to win the Test which was improbable. They had to survive five and a half sessions which was a mammoth task.

In the first session Australia lost openers Shane Watson and Chris Rogers. Phil Hughes too was dismissed for one. The fourth wicket stand between Michael Clarke and Usman Khawaja gave Australia some hope but Root dismissed both the set batsmen who had scored half centuries.

England won the game easily and now are leading the series by 2-0. Graeme Swann picked up four wickets.
