Australian pacer Mitchell Starc said he was happy to get Kevin Pietersen's wicket and it was important to get him on day three of the third Ashes Test before he could get on to a big score.

He said that if Michael Clarke enforced follow-on if the last three England wickets fell quickly, then the bowlers would have no problem.

"It's another Test match to win for Australia and I'm sure you wouldn't have to ask the bowlers twice to put in the overs," said Starc.

"Lucky it's not up to me. I'll let the captain and the coach decide that one."

"Going into Days four and five it’s already turning a bit so I think it’s going to be key for the spinners, obviously Graeme Swann and Nathan [Lyon] as well to take as many wickets as they can," said Starc.

"I think things are going to happen pretty quickly on the last two days. It’s only going to turn more heading into the end of the Test."
