Brian Lara, who is considered as one of the greatest batsman ever to have played the game of cricket spoke about the art of batting. He said that he always believed in batting as long as possible on the crease, and never leave the job to others. He said that if his team batted first, he’d try to bat for three to five sessions to help his team put up a decent score. Similarly, if his team batted second, he’d like to stay there for as long as possible on the crease.

Lara played 131 Tests and 299 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for West Indies.
