Gary Ballance who scored an impressive 71 against India in the first Test at Trent Bridge, said that the English team will look to start the second Test confidently and put India under pressure with a good start.


The first Test match ended in a draw but there were positives for both team. For England, James Anderson shone with both bat and ball in the first innings scoring a sensational 81. He, along with Joe Root, set up a record 10th-wicket partnership as they combined to score 198 runs. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the star performer as he took a five-wicket haul and scored half centuries in both innings.
