Eoin Morgan has reiterated the stance of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Kevin Pietersen. Morgan said that the English Cricket pecking order has constantly made its position clear on Kevin Pietersen. He also said that he is satisfied with the team he has got at his disposal and that it is the best group of guys available to England in One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

England Kick start their triangular series campaign in Australia with India being the third entity on January 16. They take on Australia in the first match in Sydney which will be Morgan’s first assignment since taking over captaincy duties in ODIs full time. Eoin Morgan replaced Alastair Cook as England’s ODI skipper in the wake of Cook’s abysmal form in limited overs cricket.

England have had a parched run of form in ODIs over the last one year. They were beaten four-one by Australia in Australia, then Sri Lanka beat them three-two at home, followed by a three-one loss against India at home and a five-two trouncing at the hands of Sri Lanka in their return leg in Sri Lanka.
