Australia Women skipper Jodie Fields on Saturday said that the team was disappointed after losing the Ashes series against England.

Australia Women were defeated by seven wickets in the T20 match of the multi-format series .

"We started off the series quite well but unfortunately we haven't quite been there in the last few games and England have played really consistent cricket. There's a lot that we've learned,” Fields said after the match.

"To be honest, it's a lot to do with self belief and confidence because we've done the hard work and we came here the fittest we've been post-World Cup,” she added.

"Sometimes you've just got to get out in the middle and back the skills and ability you've got and I suppose, for me, that was what was missing."
