England wicketkeeper Matt Prior said he was happy to see England bat well in the second innings and praised Ian Bell’s innings on Day Three of the first Ashes Test match at Trent Bridge on Friday.

He admitted that it was not the easiest wicket to bat on, but players get value for their shots.

Prior is confident that England are in a stronger position going into the fourth day and hopes that Graeme Swann will be the key for England bowling in the fourth innings of the match.

He said that England will have to create some more pressure on Australia in order to bowl them out in the fourth innings.
