A video of Mohammad Azharuddin’s life ban being termed as “illegal” by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court earlier ruled that the life ban given to him in 2000 for his role in a match-fixing scandal is unsustainable by law.

Azharuddin’s lawyers told news channel CNN IBN that his ban has been revoked until the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appeals against the order.

The former Indian captain has expressed satisfaction over the verdict and said he will not take any legal action against the BCCI.
