Indian captain MS Dhoni spoke to the press after their loss to Australia in the opening match of the seven-match One-Day International (ODI) series at Pune. The Indian skipper said his side never underestimates any team.

Batting first Australia scored 304 for eight in their allocated 50 overs. Aaron Finch and George Bailey scored half-centuries which helped the visitors post a total in excess of 300.

India have never beaten Australia chasing a target in excess of 300. India lost wickets in clusters in the middle overs and that completely stalled their momentum. They fell short by 72 runs and now have their work cut out in the coming matches.
