MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina to launch IPL style 7-a-side tournament in UAE
The format will see seven teams take on each other in a seven-overs a side game.

Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni would launch 7PL  league with Suresh Raina in the UAE. Dhoni is said to be the chief brand ambassador of the league. The format will see seven teams take on each other in a seven-overs a side game. Each team would have seven players a side.
Plus, Rhiti Sports, the company owned by Arun Pandey, Dhoniâs friend will be running the league with the UAE based company. An Indian politician is said to support this league and this would be televised on his upcoming channel.
The seven teams in the tournament would be representing the seven Emirates in the UAE â Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajmal, Umm al Quwain, Ras-al-Khaimah and Fujairah. Players from around the globe would take part, but mainly those who missed out in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction or the Big Bash League (BBL).
