ICC Women’s World Cup 2013: Odisha to host Pakistan team’s matches

Days of speculations regarding the participation of Pakistan Women's Cricket Team in the upcoming World Cup in India has ended, the group B matches will now be held in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, in the state of Odisha.

Tendions at the India–Pakistan border and subsequent protests in Mumbai caused doubts regarding the safety of hosting Pakistan's World Cup matches in Mumbai. Various other states also refused to host Pakistan's matches.

However, Odisha agreed to allow the team.
