Mumbai Police have served a summons to N Srinivasan's son-in-law, Gurunath Meiyappan to appear before the police between 11am and 5pm on Friday.

The Mumbai Police reached Meiyappan's residence on Thursday afternoon and failed to find him. They were made to wait outside the gate of his residence for over 20 minutes.

Meiyappan who is the Team principal and CEO of Chennai Super Kings has been under the radar of the police for his alleged involvement in betting.
