N Srinivasan should step down as BCCI President, says Kirti Azad
Kirti Azad wants N Srinivasan to resign as BCCI chief
Former Indian cricketer Kirti Azad has lashed out at Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President N Srinivasan after the Mudgal committee found Gurunath Meiyapan the team principal of the Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit Chennai Super Kings guilty of spot-fixing.
Meiyapan who happens to be the son-in-law of Srinivasan was indicted by a report carried out by the committee and Kirti now wants Srininvasan to step down as BCCIPresident.
Kirti also labelled the IPL as a sham which hosts evils like match-fixing and stressed that anyone convicted under the law should not be allowed to run operations in either the International Cricket Council (ICC) or the BCCI
