Peter Siddle’s hat-trick pumped me up: James Pattinson

Australian pacer James Pattinson recalls Peter Siddle taking a hat-trick in the 2010-11 Ashes. Siddle took the hat-trick on his birthday.

Siddle bagged 6 for 54 in the match. He could have had seven if Brad Haddin hadn't floored a catch offered by James Anderson.

Pattinson recalls, "I was actually driving, going for fishing and was stuck in traffic. And when I heard him achieve the feat it sort of made me jump out of the car and celebrate."
