Australia batsman Phil Hughes spoke about his focus on the red ball and the upcoming Ashes series against England.

Hughes went on to say that Australia went after a victory against Sri Lanka in 29 overs to try and qualify. He said that he was disappointed not to have qualified for the semi-finals. He also tried to put the David Warner episode behind and move on to the upcoming series in England.

Hughes said the entire team shares the blame for the poor performances. Hughes, however, said the entire team is up for a challenging Ashes series and win it back.

Hughes praised a few individual performances during the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.  He said that the Ashes defeat in the previous edition is at the back of their head and want to come out of it and beat England.
