Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) retained Indiaâs batting stalwart Virat Kohli, West Indies’ opening batsman Chris Gayle and South Africaâs AB de Villiers for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. They also announced the appointment of former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori as their head coach.
The RCB, expectedly, have retained their batting nucleus in the form of Gayle, Kohli and de Villiers for the seventh edition of IPL. In addition to appointing Vettori as the coach, former South African speedster Allan Donald has been named as the bowling mentor of the side. Australiaâs Trent Woodhill would take care of batting and fielding departments.
