Former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting was out Leg Before Wicket (LBW) to Vernon Philander for four early on Day Two of the third and final Test against South Africa at Perth.

Ponting is set to retire after the Test match, bringing curtains down to a glorious career. His runs and centuries tally in test cricket is only second behind the Little Master Sachin Tendulkar.

Australia lost five wickets in the first session of Day Two of the Perth Test on Saturday.
