The Royal Challengers Bangalore players practice hard ahead of their clash against the Pune Warriors India at Pune.

Pune Warriors India's miserable run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 tournament continued as they were outgunned by Royal Challengers Bangalore by 17 runs, despite Robin Uthappa's quickfire 75, on Thursday.

Uthappa scored a half-century and Angelo Mathews smashed 19-ball 32 but the poor performance by the middle-order batsmen let go their efforts in vain.

Pune Warriors didn’t make a great start to their chase of 188 as they lost skipper Aaron Finch in the third over. The Pune captain hit a boundary in the second over and clobbered a six off Moises Henriques over the midwicket boundary in the third, but the bowler had the last laugh as he cleaned him up on the next ball.
