Mumbai Indians spinner Harbhajan Singh has batted for Sachin Tendulkar and said that the latter's 200th Test is a big occasion for every Indian who has seen the maestro play for more than two decades.

Tendulkar, who has 198 Tests to his name currently, will feature in his 200th Test when India host the West Indies at home in October. The venue of his 200th Test is yet to be decided as both the Wankhede in Mumbai and the Eden Gardens in Kolkata are keen on hosting Tendulkar's landmark achievement.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also rubbished rumours that they have told Tendulkar to retire following his 200th Test and will leave the decision to him.
