The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has rejected Sachin Tendulkar's request of moving Mumbai's Ranji Trophy semi-final game from New Delhi to Mumbai.

Tendulkar had requested for such a shift before BCCI took the decision to stage the game at the Palam cricket ground in New Delhi from January 16.

It was revealed that BCCI rejected Tendulkar’s request by saying that it was against the rules and regulation of the board.

Tendulkar, who retired from limited-overs cricket for India, is currently playing for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. He scored a century against Baroda in the quarter final.
