India's legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will prepare for the final Test series of his career, against the West Indies in November, with a Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai against Haryana at Lahli.

Tendulkar, who will retire after playing the second Test (November 14-18) against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium here, will play in the Ranji game to warm up for the series.

MCA joint secretary Nitin Dalal told PTI that Tendulkar and pacer Zaheer Khan will play for Mumbai on the October 27-30 Ranji match at Lahli, a small town in Rohtak district in Haryana.

"Yes, Tendulkar and Zaheer are playing against Haryana in the Ranjji Trophy opener for Mumbai," Dalal said.
