Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar will not be a part of Mumbai's last Ranji Trophy league game against Gujarat starting this Saturday.

Sachin Tendulkar, who recently retired from one-day cricket, will not play in Mumbai's last Ranji Trophy league game against Gujarat but has made himself available for the knock-out stage if the team reaches the quarter-finals.

Mumbai Cricket Association joint secretary Nitin Dalal said that Tendulkar will not be able to play in the match which begins on Saturday at Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai as he is now holidaying in Northern India with his family.
