Shane Warne talks about his ‘ball of the century’
A video of Shane Warne talking about his first delivery on his debut during the Ashes 1993. Warne bowled a wonderful delivery that pitched outside the leg-stump and spun diagonally to clip the top of the off-stump of the English batsman Mike Gatting.
Warne recalls that moment and the build up to his Australia debut. He says that he was taken apart during the warm-up match and did not have confidence ahead of the series.
His skipper in that series, Allan Border, also talks about Warne. He said that Warne was a nervous youngster when he first threw the ball to him before lunch on that day.
