South Africa have edge in terms of batting, says Barry Richards

Former South African cricketer Barry Richards feels that the series against Australia is going to be a very tough and competitive one, with the Proteas having the edge in terms of their batting.

Richards maintained that the South African top order was world class and have it in them to trouble the Aussies.

Richards said that though England were battered 5-0 by the Aussies in the 2013-14 Ashes, playing against South Africa will be a completely new ball-game altogether and said that Michael Clarke’s side will have to step up their game to win against the Proteas.
