Former Indian player Syed Kirmani said on Thursday that he feels ashamed to be called a cricketer in the aftermath of IPL 2013 spot-fixing controversy.

Meanwhile, a Delhi court on Thursday sent, to five days police custody, India fast bowler Sreesanth as well as his Rajasthan Royals colleagues Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila, all arrested for spot fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL),

Besides the three players, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Lokesh Kumar Sharma also sent to police custody the 11 bookies, arrested by special cell of Delhi Police from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad in connection with spot fixing, which includes bowling no-balls at pre-determined times, IANS reported.
