A young Indian team under the captaincy of Virat Kohli has left for the tour to Zimbabwe. On this tour, they will play five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and it is an opportunity for youngsters to showcase their potential and convince the selectors.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have the chance to consolidate their spots in the team. Whereas, Ambati Rayudu, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinya Rahane would be eyeing this tour to break into the playing eleven. Also, in the bowling, Shami Ahmed might get the opportunities in the absence of the regulars.

Another player who would be in focus would be Parvez Rasool. The Jammu and Kashmir spinner has made rapid strides in domestic cricket and would want to convert that potential at the highest level.
