The Ashes 2015 promo: We didn't start the fire!

A promo for The Ashes 2015 has been released. The video features famous archival footage of past Ashes series along with an Ashes-specific rendition of the Billy Joel song We Didn’t Start The Fire. The video features current Sky Sports commentators and Joe Root speaking lyrics of the song as it goes on in the background. David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd, however, does a commendable job at singing it.

The Ashes 2015 will be held soon in England, who have not lost a home Ashes series in the last decade or so. England won the Ashes at home in 2005, 2009 and 2013 (this is the first time they have won three home Ashes on the trot since 1893), and Alastair Cook and his men would be vying to keep their record intact. Australia currently hold the Ashes after their impressive show at home in 2013-14, when they ended their misery and registered the only third clean sweep in the history of the contest. Australia are the only team among the two arch rivals to have done so, and that too three times.
